Flip Flops

Summer is coming so when I found the flower beads and the flip flop charms I knew exactly what I wanted to make with them.
The little pendant is so cute. The flip flops have flowers, hearts, peace signs and smiley faces.
They even came with matching charms that I used to make earrings. I made this just in time for Charlotte to take with her on her trip to Florida. I hope she had a great time.

Another Version....

Another version of the pearls and crystals. I like the necklace on this set better but the earrings on the other. :-) Maybe they can be mix and match.

Simply Classic

I seem to forget how much I love pearls. It is hard to go wrong when working with them. They can be completely dress up or just a funky dash of elegance when you are going casual. I like this set as a whole, but am especially pleased with how the earrings turned out. I love dangles! :-)

Organics

I love organic beads...especially wooden ones. This is the first time I have paired them with other elements. I used silver chain for the necklace and some frosted glass rounds on the earrings. It must have turned out as well as I hoped as it sold the very next day. Thank you Miss. B, I hope you enjoy wearing it!

Detour into Gold...

I'm a silver kind of girl. I can't seem to help myself. I know when I am making jewelry to sell it isn't about personal preference, but I can't help but see beads paired up with silver. Then I saw these beads. I knew immediately that there was no way that they would work with silver. I paired them with gold and amber to bring out the swirls in the stone. Maybe now when I see beads I can start to see gold too.

Blogger Award

As you can see by my non-posts I have been ridiculously busy. I haven' touched my beads in well over a week. Maybe I'll be able to get back to them soon. In the meantime, with no beads to blog about, I decided to get to work and post the award I have been meaning to for a few weeks now. ShimerMeBlue was kind enough to give me this award. Her blog is a favorite read of mine. Click and go on over to check it out. she is a talented jewelry maker, she does reviews on anything under the sun and she blogs about her fanily. I don't know how she does it all..to add to it she just recently started another blog called Outnumbered 3 to 1.
Ok, the rules are to pass this blog on to ten other bloggers. I am not sure that I know ten, but I will give it my best shot.

Heather Witch Hollow Primitives
Lady Roots Voice from Jamaica
Wendy Among Mad People
Laurie Retail Clerk with a Heart of Gold Plate
Eve Eden
Pam Prims by Pam
Christima This Girl Beads
Kokopelli Kokopelli Design
Bev Bevs Jewlery
Bev Dreams of Pure Love

I know I am one short but that is all I have time to look for. Thanks Melissa for your award, it was really great.

Copper, Bronze and Browns....

I guess I am still thinking fall. :-) I love all of these colors together.
Here is a close up so you can get a better idea of what the pendant actually looks like.

See Your Future in Crystals.....

This is another set from my creative roll on Sunday. I took it to work Monday and sold it in less than 15 minutes. Thank you Miss. M for your quiet admiration of my work and carefully planned purchases to keep to your budget since buying your new home. I can't tell you how much it motivates me to keep striving. I hope you enjoy wearing this as much as I enjoyed making it.

Getting There...

It isn't exactly chain maille but I made this chain. I'm still getting there. I'll have to go and check out Kokopelli's blog for further inspiration! :-)

Funky Green Part 2

I got on a creative roll late this afternoon while dinner cooked in the crock pot. My oldest was busy on the computer and my youngest had run away from home to spend some much needed time with his best bud, and cousin, Miss. Bailey. I made this bracelet to match the Funky Green set. I think this set is one of my favorites...even though it is so simple.

Thinking Fall....

Spring is on it's way, but this necklace makes me think of fall. The copper chain, the leaves and the colors. I'm ready for summer but don't mind fall being on my mind too.

Funky Green

I love the heavy look of this chain to balance out the larger size of the beads. It looks like it would be heavy and weigh you down, but it actually turned out to be pretty light. I kept the earrings simple and used faceted rounds in the same colors.
