Thinking Fall....

I find myself being drawn to fall colors. Maybe it is the intense heat we are going through here in the South. I'm not in any hurry to get to winter but the cool days of fall sound lovely. Luckily for me others seem to be feeling the same. As the greens and browns, even with gold that isn't usually as popular, disappear as quick as I can get them finished. I know that the buyer of this piece is enjoying it from the frequency of which she wears it. I'm glad as I enjoyed making it.

Flowers at Night.....

I have been MIA so long I can't even remember all of the reasons to list them here. Replacing inventory that went on consignment at a local gift shop. A really good thing as the owner feels they will sell but also leaves me in a crunch to replace said inventory for upcoming shows. Knitting classes because I don't have enough to do now, I have to learn something else. School has started and with one in high school and one starting kindergarten schedules don't always mesh. I could probably go on and on and bore you all to tears...wait, wake up! I haven't been talking that long. I can only promise to try and do better to make time and keep posting. As soon as I get more made to show you.....

Inspiration....

Many months ago I was lucky enough to purchase this bracelet from a fellow jewelry artist. I love her work. I fell for this one in particular because it so reminded me of crystal balls. Who couldn't use a little help looking into the future? If you'd like to see more of her work, click here.

In the last few weeks I found these beads and had to have them. Instantly they made me think of my bracelet and all of her other work. Inspiration is all around us, all the time. I was just lucky enough to find her pieces, love them and actually get to own one. All of that led me to this set.
While I would have loved to keep these beauties for myself, it wasn't meant to be. Someone else was drawn to them even more than I and couldn't resist.

Drop Pendant

Silver, simulated, pearls with a black teardrop pendant. Simple, but classic I think.

I know we're still in this midst of our scorching summer but I just couldn't resist all the copper.

Palest Pink

These beads are the palest pink. To bad they are lost in shadow in the picture. We do have a new camera in the house so hopefully I can improve! :-)
